When longtime residents of Saint Croix come together for a wedding its always a beautiful adventure.
Local teachers for many years, Chelsy & Clark have built a family of friends here on Saint Croix, myself included :)
I've rarely met two people more similar in their passions, interests, and beliefs. They often joke that they are the female and male version of the same person. Indeed they are kindred spirits and being a part of their ceremony was a supremely beautiful experience. Absolute joy radiated from Chelsy and Clark, which is unabashedly apparent in the photos from their ceremony (I still can't help but smile every time I look at them). That joy, magnified by the loving souls who gathered to witness their union warmed the air of that little hilltop one breezy April evening, on the Northshore of St Croix
...the little rock in the middle of the Caribbean Sea where these two soulmates found each other.
The reception was a slightly different story. Only slightly though, a warm joyful glow being ever-present, there were simply more loved ones....and more Veuve ;)
The reception was held on a different day and at a private home on Saint Croix. A home that Chelsy & Clark's crew filled with laughter and love. It was an amazing party and the guests were at want for nothing.
So much love, our cups runneth over...
We love you both so much and are so excited for your new adventure teaching and living in Cairo! Your future together is so bright and I'm so grateful to be a part of your journey.
Have fun my favorite wayfarers!
