Travel and flight cancellations almost derailed best-laid plans for Vickie and Mike's wedding. Living prepared for unexpected hurdles to pop up is the 'norm' when you live on an island, so their big day was every bit as magical as they hoped. Special thanks to their rockstar wedding planner, Michelle Marquis, who expertly maneuvered the event and vendors around the cancelations and changes. Leaving Vickie and Mike to focus on getting here without being overwhelmed or unnecessarily stressed.
"We were engaged on St. Croix in July 2021 and couldn't think of a more perfect place to seal the deal in February 2022!
We love everything about St. Croix - its people, history and natural beauty.
Our fondest memory, of the beach at LaVallee - how wild and remote it seemed while being only a minute from the villa we rented." - Vickie
Destination weddings have their logistical quirks, island weddings are no exception. Hiring local, experienced coordinators and vendors will help insulate your event from hurdles common to St. Croix. While also providing a knowledgeable support system to cushion you from unexpected complications that will (inevitably) arise.
"We wanted something simple, yet elegant, and feel we accomplished that vibe. We love the ocean and scuba diving, so this rustic beach setting was perfect." -Vickie
A few canceled flights won't stop Vickie and Mike from seeing all the world has to offer. They already have plans to celebrate their one-year anniversary in the Philippines and a trip to Belize in August.
Thank you for trusting me to capture your special memories, and I cant wait to see the pictures from your travels and all the memories to come!
Congratulations Vickie and Mike!
